Capacity Trail for Jira · last updated 19 August 2026

Capacity Trail is not on sale yet. It is finished and being submitted to the Atlassian Marketplace, and these terms are published in advance so they can be read before anybody is asked to buy anything. If you have arrived here expecting to install it, you cannot yet.

When it is listed it will be sold through the Atlassian Marketplace under the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement, and those terms will govern your use of the app. What follows is the part specific to this product, in plain words.

What the app promises

It reports how many hours a team has available in a period, how much work is already assigned to them, and the gap, using estimates already in your Jira. Every figure is published with a sentence stating what it counted and what it left out.

What it does not promise

It cannot see leave. Jira holds no universal record of vacation, sick leave, public holidays or part-time contracts, and this app refuses to store one. Anybody you do not tell it about is counted as fully available, and the report names them so you can see the assumption being made. A figure is only as good as the exceptions you supply.

It reports what you can see. Reports run with your own Jira permissions, so a colleague may get a different figure from the same query. That is Jira's behaviour, and the report says so rather than hiding it.

It refuses rather than guesses. If a query is too large to read completely within the platform's time limit, no figure is published at all. A partly read query hides work that is already assigned and would make a team look freer than it is.

Support

Support is by email at hello@acefoundry.io, answered by a person. Report any figure that was wrong in a way the coverage sentence did not flag and it goes to the top of the queue, because that is the exact failure this product exists to prevent.

Billing

Billing is handled entirely by Atlassian through the Marketplace, under their pricing and refund terms. We never see or hold your payment details.
